Springwater WTM Magpie is a very special doe. She is my birthday present to myself, and a doe I’ve long admired. Magpie has some amazing genetics and is tightly line bred on Sugar Moon NS Alejandro. She has a fantastic udder, and got a V in udder as a First freshener this year at appraisals. Magpie moved from Idaho in milk, and still managed to not lose production. She made the Elite list this year as a FF! She also did Linear Appraisals with us and did fantastic. This doe takes it all in stride! Magpie is such a character, and she’s very cherished here. Her favorite things are food and people:) She will remain here, and the plan is to incorporate her lines into our dairy herd. I can’t wait to retain kids from her next year.
